A review of Rawdon Crematorium by Justine Potter written on Thursday 22nd of January 2009
My sister died at the age of 40 and was cremated at Rawden. We have a bush and plaque in her honour. The grounds are beautiful and are well looked after. The problem I have is that I wasn't aware that you were not allowed to leave flowers etc, so I bought a vase with Sister on and put a photo on it of her and a few little bits that have a meaning from me to her. I have recently been to see her and everything has been removed. We had no notification that they were being removed and presume that they have been thrown away. I have never been to a crem before where you can't leave flowers or anything. It isn't as though the dead flowers would be left there as I go up every weekend to see her. I feel that this needs to be turned around. Please help!!.
