"Not just a haircut!"

I have been having my hair cut and coloured at Martin James for the past eight years and am shocked that anyone could have a bad word to say about this beautiful salon!

Everytime i walk through the door i am presented with a smile and a drinks list, listing various complimentary refreshments. The salon allows you to relax completely for two hours, sipping champagne, whilst the small team of staff ensure a completely personal, devoted service.

Martin James has not only transformed my hair but has provided me with a haven in which to relax; I look forward to every visit.

On one occasion i must say i have been late for an appointment. Running 50 minutes late I felt terrible that i had wasted an appointment that could have been filled by another client. I completely understood when it was explained to me, that they were unable to see me as the salon was full. Unlike other salons who would have charged me for the missed appointment, the receptionist simply rearrnged my appointemnt at my convenience. I have always found the service to be friendly and impeccable, even on this occasion. The fact that you can set your watch by the salon running to time is one of the main plus points for myself as i know i will never be left waiting with wet hair or sat around for an hour waiting for my colour to process. Quite frankly if in order to maintain this rare level of service and time keeping in the salon i am rebooked on the rare occasion i am running so late, so be it. Surely personal service means not making clients wait and arriving on time to an appointment in my opinion is simply good manners!.
