"IPhone 3G nightmare, O2 recover"

I went to the Commercial Street branch of O2 in Leeds for the iPhone 3G launch.

It took hours to get my hands on a 16GB iPhone 3G, however this was not the fault of the staff, who handled the whole situation FANTASTICALLY.

People started to realize something was wrong after the queue remained static for 45mins after the first 6 customers entered. However the staff came out to chat to us and updated us on the situation. Furthermore they offered us chocolates and decided to begin allowing the handsets to be activated at home.

The experience was not good but the manager of this store dealt with the situation brilliantly and so I still have nothing but praise for O2!.
