My grandmothers white marble memorial was bought from this monumental masons in Leeds in 1980, and it was fitted in killingbeck cemetery, so recently I decided to get the whole memorial fully cleaned and renovated, because after 40 years exposed to the elements, naturally it had gone totally green with age, and some of the leaded letters had started to come out, so I sent it to Newton’s to get restored, and OMG when the memorial restoration and additional lettering was completed, and the memorial was refitted in the cemetery, I could hardly believe my eyes, because it just looked totally brand new, I can’t remember the memorial masons name who carried out the work at W.H. Newton’s but he was so lovely and such a talented stone mason,.
