"Such a disappointment"

Took my family on one of our frequent visits to The Wellington Pub on Wetherby Rd, Tuesday 19.2.13 at 12.15.

No roast potatoes, no stuffing,on looking for new potatoes under the lid of an empty container, was told abruptly by a member of staff with attitude " don't touch just ask " said was looking for new potatoes," we don't do them" I said well you always did and wasn't aware they were none today, otherwise would not be trying to find any,clearly not happy in his employment but happy to enjoy point scoring I had to move away, did report him but don't think it will do any good.

As to the food, no roast potatoes,no stuffing, no new potatoes,only mash ( mash for a carvery ) really small amount of meat, both carrots and cauli had only small amounts in the containers and were clearly in need of change. So we go for a carvery, there's no roast or new potatoes, no stuffing, not allowed to serve ourselves with yorkshire pudding,the meat consists of 2 half slices. Things have certainly changed, The price list photo shows the £3.69 dish as havin 4 slices of meat, yet in reality its 2 half slices. Noticed this time not many customers, it seems they are voting with their feet, we will do likewise in future

The staff member with attitude was not the one taking tickets and serving the meat.

Always enjoyed our visits before, we will not be going back..
