A review of Royal Mail by Disgruntled customer written on Monday 21st of January 2013
Oh, and further to my previous review, if you ring them to arrange redelivery of a parcel (one which they say they tried to leave but didn't, don't forget) then you get an answerphone message (no-one ever answers in person). You can only select to have your parcel redelivered after 48 hours have passed!
Well that Special Delivery service I paid extra for was worth it. Hopefully they won't lose this one, like they lose so many others.
When you bring these things up when you go to collect your parcel they just look at you with disinterest and ask if you want to fill out a complaint form. Why on earth Royal Mail management haven't sorted this shambles of a delivery office out I have no idea.
The sad thing is they closed a brilliant sorting office at Torre Road, where the staff went out of their way to help and always answered the phone. Now we have the abomination that is Seacroft sorting office. Trained chimps could do better than this lot. Just ask anyone in the queue to pick up their parcel....
