"Saves the day"

On two previous separate occasions George Mudie has helped me.

Once again he saves the day by helping me have a Parking ticket withdrawn while visiting the White Rose Centre half an hour before closing time. I parked on a disabled spot without realising and came out to find what we thought was a leaflet but a parking ticket on my windscreen..
