Had a wonderful meal at the New Inn recently (Oct 2011). The steak was beautifully tender (I had med rare) and my friends chorizo and red pepper pasta (off the specials board) went down really well too. I hear its changed management recently which perhaps explains the other bad review. All I can say is I will definitely be back soon!.
