When booking any venue for an event,if a buffet is requested,then it is down to the hirer to stipulate what the buffet should include.You can't expect the staff to read minds.I have been visiting Squires since the late 60s with my father,then on my own since 1980.I have never had any issues regarding food,it's always been a down to earth eatery.If the present chef appeared rude,it's because the customer was unreasonable and maybe pushed the situation too far.
