A review of SSAFA Forces Help by David wrighton written on Friday 11th of June 2010
I have had a couple of traffic accidents in the last ten years. I struggle to walk sometimes but am in pain 24/7. I have learned to live with it like we do. My GP gave me a phone number of the local ssafa in leeds , and told me that they would be able to help me in some way. That phonecall was the start of my relief. To cut a long story short ssafa were able to contact various agencies, and now I have an electrically operated tilt chair to relieve the pain whilst sat down. The new bed is also tiltable and has grab rails so I can move about.I have a new car and am now waiting for a wheelchair to complete my mobil
ity once again.
many thanks
jddragon.
